Ocean Nutrition Canada Limited (ONC), supplier of MEG-3® brand Omega-3 EPA/DHA from fish oil to the food and dietary supplement industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Getzinger as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. In his new role Getzinger will be responsible for managing the global sales and marketing teams at ONC.

Getzinger joins the ONC team after two years at RTI, a rapidly expanding food service company in Minneapolis, where he held the position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Prior to that Getzinger held senior positions at Cargill and Monsanto/Nutra Sweet.

Getzinger received his undergrad degree from the University of Michigan and his MBA from Washington University. Getzinger is an experienced Sales and Marketing leader with an exceptional track record of developing winning teams that have produced outstanding sales success in the food industry.

Having led sales and marketing teams of up to 90 people, Getzinger is a goal oriented leader, who has proven experience and strength in the transformation of culture, performance, process and results. This exceptional strength has helped Getzinger to take growth companies to the next level. His past experience, with both Cargill, and NutraSweet/Monsanto, includes launching novel food ingredients, both nationally and internationally.
