Kemps Dairy Products Add More Value For Families

Ocean Nutrition Canada Limited (ONC), supplier of MEG-3® brand Omega-3 EPA/DHA food and dietary supplement ingredients, is pleased to announce that Kemps has included the MEG-3® EPA/DHA healthy food ingredient in two new fat free frozen yogurts. Kemps is the first company to launch a frozen dessert in the U.S. containing the MEG-3® Omega-3 healthy food ingredient, the best source of Omega-3 from fish oil. As with Kemps recent launch of their Kemps Plus Healthy Lifestyle, and Kemps Plus Healthy Kids milk products, Kemps has chosen to place the MEG-3® logo on their packaging.

The new, fat free, frozen yogurts were launched in major grocery retailers throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin in March. The yogurts are available in two great tasting flavors, Pomegranate Swirl and Wild Blueberries Sweet Cream.

Research indicates that EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaneonic Acid) Omega-3 fatty acids are important for good health and normal growth and development. Leading health authorities, and experts, agree that people need at least 500 mg per day of EPA and DHA.
