ONC partners with independent researchers and clinicians who wish to conduct pre-clinical and clinical studies using MEG-3® fish oil concentrates. Our participation in each study is based on scientific merit and relevance to our business strategy.

We supply a variety of fish oil concentrates for research use, including bulk, encapsulated and microencapsulated, along with matching placebos.

For dietary supplement trials, we offer three 1000-mg Omega-3 capsule formulations: 4020EE (at least 40% EPA and 20% DHA as ethyl esters), 6003EE (at least 60% EPA and 3% DHA as ethyl esters), and 0355EE (at least 3% EPA and 55% DHA) - plus a placebo with a 50/50 blend of soybean and corn oils. Each capsule is colored with carob and flavored with lemon-lime to ensure that the oil inside is not discernible to clinical subjects.

For food ingredient trials we provide a microencapsulated placebo powder of 50/50 soybean/corn oil in addition to our microencapsulated fish oil powders.
